Tournament organization is at the heart of Stirling Polo. We organize and manage some of the region’s leading polo tournaments, bringing together outstanding polo, experienced teams, and an international community of players and patrons.

Uruguayan Open

The Uruguayan Open is Uruguay’s most prestigious polo tournament, organized by the Uruguayan Polo Association and hosted in Punta del Este. It brings together leading teams, international patrons, and top players, representing the highest level of polo in the country.

Beyond the competition, the tournament combines outstanding polo with a vibrant social atmosphere, making it one of the highlights of the South American polo season for players, families, and spectators alike.

Copa Presidencia de la República

The Copa Presidencia de la República is the second most important polo tournament in Uruguay after the Uruguayan Open. Organized by the Uruguayan Polo Association and hosted in Punta del Este, it brings together excellent players from Uruguay and abroad, creating a competitive tournament in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Copa Santa Cruz

The Copa Santa Cruz has become a summer tradition in Punta del Este, bringing together players and teams from Uruguay, Argentina and beyond. Hosted at Estancia Santa Cruz, just minutes from José Ignacio, the tournament combines well-run polo with a relaxed and exclusive setting.

With its beautiful grounds, full amenities and welcoming atmosphere, it offers a distinctive polo experience for players, patrons and families throughout the summer season.

Held every Easter Week in Young, the Copa Alfredo de Souza is one of Uruguay’s most traditional polo tournaments, bringing together players, families and friends from across the country and the region in a festive and competitive atmosphere.

More than a tournament, it is a meeting point for generations and friends who return year after year to come together, share their passion for polo, enjoy the week and take part in the different events that surround the tournament. Recognized as an event of national tourism interest, it has become an important part of Uruguay’s polo tradition.

Kids & Amateur Tournaments

During the season, young players and amateurs can also take part in tournaments, creating opportunities to get involved in the sport, gain experience on the field, and become part of the polo community from an early stage.
